As I'm sure any other photographer will agree choosing 1 photo is incredibly hard! ...but this image takes me back to one of my favourite places.

As a teenager growing up in a small village most of my 'fashion' experimental shoots took place in fields - and this field in particular.

When my parents made the sad decision to move from our family home of 20 years last year I planned one last photo shoot around the village inspired by childhood and freedom. The shoot was a final little love letter to where I grew up and the simple but beautiful locations that inspired me and are still relevant in my work today.

I have always tried to include little pieces of me within my editorial work, whether its my favourite number (22) or my pets or props passed down from my grandparents. What might appear as a simple cornfield to others has been the setting to my evolution from a 16 year old photographer shooting on her Dad's old Pentax.

The editorial as a whole is one of my favourites I've shot, but this image in particular always makes me smile.
